This section offers a friendly introduction to our core team members, highlighting who they are, their roles, and their invaluable contributions to our ecosystem.

Here’s Monark’s team:

Jconlabarba - CEO, Project Manager and Head of Marketing

Jconlabarba has been working in startup creation for almost a decade and is the founder of a web agency, taking care of the marketing and innovation aspects for several clients. He started focusing on Web3 in 2021, and since then has been involved in the marketing growth of various projects on different blockchains, such as Cronos, Kava, Mantle and Aptos. Given his experience in people and project management, as well as his expertise in marketing and web3 products, he decided to start building projects in a professional manner and with fundamental values in mind, such as transparency and clear communication, where all these aspects still tend to be lacking: the DeFi space.

Tidal - Lead full-stack dev

Tidal has a background in game development of more than 4 years and began applying blockchain technology in video games at the beginning of 2022. He has since started learning Solidity and smart contract development, with a focus on game-related protocols such as NFTs, before switching his focus to DeFi in early 2023.

Feo - Backend and blockchain dev

Feo is a blockchain developer, working for big companies for many years. He has been into Bitcoin & blockchain technology since 2011. Moreover, he is a Solidity developer since 2021. He worked on some projects based on R2E. He is also a professor in engineering schools teaching blockchain development.

Benoit - Frontend dev

Pulp - Head of Business

In the crypto world since 2019, Pulp has worked on several projects on different chains including Polygon, BNB chain, and Cronos, and collaborated with some large teams as a freelance where he gained good experience in the field. In his free time from crypto work, he loves trading crypto, teaching crypto to newbies, and discussing crypto with friends.

Wolf - Community Manager

He goes by many variations around the space, and he likes to show support, but he’s always Wolf. He has been around the block. He has held diamonds and bags. He knows how it goes. He likes to be helpful, wants people to win, and hates scammers! He is passionate about community. Community is the oxygen that feeds the fire of a project.

Teebee – Copywriter

Teebee is a freelance language expert with a passion for bridging linguistic gaps. Since 2015, Teebee has tackled translation, transcreation and localization projects. With a Master’s in Natural Language Processing, Teebee has worked on AI-driven language technologies, managed copy for a global events platform, and served as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a major social media company. Driven by a love for diverse cultures, Teebee aims to foster understanding through the power of words.
